After the Flavian Amphitheatre
GOAL
Reduce each opponent below 4 stones to be the last commander standing. Each army begins with 8 stones on the elevated outer ring.
DESCEND
On your turn, tap one of your stones, then a highlighted cell — an adjacent ring/sector, inward or outward — to move it one step. The outer ring is safe; the arena below is where blood is spilt.
MAJORITY
When stones of different colors share a cell inside the arena, whoever has the most survives — the outnumbered are cleared away. The outer ring never resolves combat.
STANDOFF
Equal forces on a cell lock in a standoff: those stones cannot move until the balance is broken.
TERRITORY
A cell you move into (rings inside the arena) becomes your territory — you may redeploy any of your stones straight to it from anywhere.
DEFEAT
A commander reduced below 4 stones is eliminated from the arena — all their remaining stones are routed.
